To place a Video Relay call anonymously:
Step 1
Double click on your Internet Explorer.
Step 2
After your Internet Explorer has fully loaded, type the website address: www.myrelay.com in the “address bar”.
Step 3
Click on “Make a Video Call” in Video Relay.
Step 4
Put down the telephone number you want to call (recommended).
Step 5
Click on Launch Video Relay.
Step 6
Wait until you are connected with a CA Interpreter and proceed with the call.
How to place a Video Relay call using your preferences:
Step 1
Double click on your Internet Explorer.
Step 2
After your Internet Explorer has fully loaded, type the website address: www.myrelay.com in the “address bar”.
Step 3
Click on “Make a Video Call” in Video Relay.
Step 4
Click on Login.
Step 5
Login with your user name and password and click Login.
Step 6
Put down the telephone number you want to call.
Step 7
Click "Launch Video Relay".
Required computer equipment
To use Video Relay Service, you need to have the following:
- Broadband or high-speed Internet connection (usually DSL - Digital Subscriber Line or cable modem for a residence);
- A web-cam or videophone;
- For a web-cam, you need a computer - it is recommended to have Windows XP with at least 500 MHz and 256 MB RAM;
- For a videophone, you need a television with video/audio input;
- A router may be needed.
Once the equipment and Internet connection are properly set up, the TRS users can connect with a Video Interpreter to make or receive calls.
