Relay services are not recommended to make Emergency 911 calls.  Use a telephone or TTY to dial 911 directly.  You will receive faster assistance and the 911 system will be able to trace your call.When you make an Internet or Video Relay Call, you are already dialing 711, therefore you do not need to dial it again.

What is Video Relay?
Video Relay Service (VRS) enables individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing to communicate using American Sign Language (ASL), and signed and oral transliteration, with people who use regular telephones.
